East Providence Area Chamber of Commerce Membership Investment:

$275.00 per year for sole proprietors or businesses/organizations with 1-5 employees. An additional $5.00 for each full-time employee for businesses with more than 5 employees. 100+ employees: $750. Businesses can join the Chamber anytime during the year. Annual membership is for 12 months and begins when the application is received

Networking opportunities including our own Business During Hours, Business After Hours and special events throughout the year. (Visit our Events Page for info.) Attendance is not mandatory. Attend all, some or none of them based upon your interest and availability.

• FREE admission to East Providence Area Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours w/pre-registration* Most chambers/networking organizations charge ($5-$20pp) for similar events (*special BAH events with other chambers may not apply.)

• Business During Hours: The Chamber's monthly, leads-generating luncheon provides an opportunity for promoting your business in a casual, friendly setting. There is no obligation to attend every month and no pressure to bring in qualified leads every time. Guest speakers are often featured at this event. (On hold for now.)

• FREE directory listing of member businesses on the Chamber's Web site with free link to your company's Web site.

• Advocacy on your behalf regarding local city or town issues affecting your business. The Chamber serves as the voice of the business community.

• Aggressive statewide lobbying via EPACC's partnership in the Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce Coalition. The Chamber is well represented to ensure that Rhode Island's elected officials remain responsive to the concerns of the local and statewide business community. (see end of page for more info.)

• Under the Dome: EPACC members receive this e-publication featuring announcements regarding bill tracking at the Rhode Island State House and the lobbying efforts & results of the Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce Coalition. (see end of page for more info.)

• Members are notified of Chamber activities and information affecting their businesses and the community through weekly Wutz New Wednesday emails, "snail mail" postcards and our Web site.

• Value-priced advertising for placing your company logo in the Chamber's weekly blast emails to our members, and/or banner ads on the Chamber's Web site. A link to your Web site and/or social media is included.

• Constant Contact Chamber Program: Chamber members are eligible to receive a 20% discount on 6-month pre-paid service or 25% on 12 months pre-paid service. It's like getting 3 months FREE. It's a 10% deeper discount than what is available to the general public.

• An assortment of events with other Rhode Island chambers of commerce that provide the state-wide networking opportunities that many of our members seek.

• Chamber committees that work on behalf of our membership, and also provide more networking benefits for those involved on the committee.

• FREE referrals for our members. The Chamber office receives phone calls frequently for referrals for businesses in our area. We only mention our members.

• FREE and prompt authorization service for Certificates of Origin. If your company makes a product in our area and ships it overseas, you need this document signed & sealed by a chamber of commerce. Non-members: $25 per page requiring seal and signature; $10 for service requested without 24 hour notice

• Member-to-Member Discount Program available ONLY to East Providence Area Chamber members FROM East Providence Area Chamber members. Discounts and free offers on services and products. 

• Customer service-oriented advisors to assist our members with selecting healthcare plans that are the most cost-effective for their businesses in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

• FREE assistance with writing and distributing press releases for our members.

• Invitations to 30+ Chamber-related events throughout the year.

•  Opportunities to attend members-only, low-cost business seminars and workshops offered by the Chamber and our associates.

Ribbon Cutting for Grand Opening and Reopening Businesses: We are here to assist in celebrating and promoting your business. This free service is included with membership. Your event can be large or small depending upon your budget and pandemic protocols. Keep it simple with some photos or more elaborate with guest speakers and activities. We can help you coordinate it, get the word out, design the invite and bring the big scissors and ribbon, if you prefer. Contact our office for details.
